The Health Response Hub ("Platform") is operated by Health Response Alliance ("HRA"), a nonprofit organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Platform is designed to facilitate communication between healthcare facilities, partner organizations, and coordinating bodies during declared public health emergencies and disasters. Use of this Platform is restricted to authorized registrants who have been vetted and approved by HRA.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. HRA MAKES NO WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR GUARANTEES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER STATUTORY, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS OF INFORMATION POSTED ON OR TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.
HRA does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. HRA does not warrant the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any resource request, availability posting, claim, or status report submitted by any user.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HRA, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND SUCCESSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF LIFE, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, OR FAILURE TO DELIVER RESOURCES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF HRA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
HRA acts solely as an information intermediary. HRA does not dispatch, deliver, or guarantee the delivery of any resource, supply, personnel, or service identified through the Platform. All resource commitments and fulfillment obligations are between the committing partner organization and the requesting facility. HRA's total cumulative liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).
THE PLATFORM IS NOT AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEM. Do not use the Platform to report life-threatening emergencies. For life-threatening emergencies, contact 911 or your local emergency management agency immediately. HRA is not responsible for response times, resource availability, or outcomes in any emergency situation.
Users are responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted through the Platform, including resource requests, availability postings, status reports, and organizational information. Users agree not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information. HRA reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms or submits inaccurate information.
The Platform and all information contained therein - including resource requests, facility status reports, organizational contacts, and operational data - is confidential and intended solely for use by authorized registrants in connection with disaster response activities. Users agree not to disclose, share, or distribute Platform content to unauthorized parties without the express written consent of HRA. Information shared through the Platform shall not be used for commercial purposes, fundraising solicitation, or any purpose other than disaster response facilitation.
By registering for and using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of organizational and contact information as described in our Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable patient data shall be submitted to or stored on the Platform. HRA takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Platform data, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia.
HRA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following notice of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
